Hello Lamb Project in Dunedin

Brydee Rood and Jaenine Parkinson at Preview Party

On January 27th 2009 at 5.30 pm, the Hello Lamb Project opened their 2nd exchange exhibition and launched their publication (designed by Nick Spratt) at the Blue Oyster Art Project Space in Dunedin. Now complete (Feb 21st) Hello Lamb is very pleased to announce that it was a successful showing and the catalogues (Guide To The Do It Yourself Shelf Museum of Possiblities) proved very popular, with many people impressed by the informative style and design. The four Auckland based Hello Lamb artists were present for the installation and opening, spurring much dialogue with the local public about the exchange and the artworks in the exhibition. Hello Lamb was proud to have Tokyo based artist Kakuro Sugimoto in attendance at the Blue Oyster Art Project Space. Kakuro made an installation onsite in the gallery having sourced local driftwood from a Dunedin beach. The Perspectives of Elsewhere was the first show of 2009 and also saw the welcome of Blue Oyster's new director Jaenine Parkinson.
